Coffee (and tea) the way 007 would drink it
Every time I go to Caffe Berry, it’s like coming home. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm with the jazz sounds of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles and others. While the baristas and the atmosphere are part of the reason why I like Caffe Berry, it is really that the coffee stands out from every place else on the island of Malta. From the kick of a double espresso to the smoothness of a hot mocha in a glass lined with chocolate, there is no other place that compares. Generally speaking, a spoon with your coffee is just a way to stir in sugar. At Caffe Berry, it is a tool that helps to prolong the coffee experience.

Summertime at Caffe Berry
It’s summertime, and for coffee lover’s that means the refreshing taste of cold coffee drinks. There is no better example of a great cold coffee drink than the ones made at Caffe Berry. These dangerous drinks are filled with all of the action and adventure of a James Bond film. Like 007’s favorite martini, these cold coffee drinks are shaken and not stirred. No one is saying that you will get caught up in a villain’s underwater volcano hideout while trying to escape some elaborate and ridiculous death trap. Instead, you will get to experience the creativity and flare of a good cup of iced coffee.
A Spot of Tea
Generally speaking, I would not order a cup of tea from a restaurant, mostly because I like coffee far too much. However, my English friend ordered one of Caffe Berry’s teas, and it was fantastic. A pot was only 2 Euros 50, which seems like a killer deal, but it was the selection and flavor of the tea that made the difference.
Looking at the tea menu, my friend decided on the tea and, like a fine wine, was given the opportunity to smell the mix of dried herbs first. Once the tea was brewed, she was given some biscuits and what may be the world’s most flavorful honey. Still, the tea was the star of the afternoon. It was fragrant, sweet and refined. Who knew that tea could be so divine? I might have to start drinking more of it.
