Five bad pick-up lines from 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'
If you are scouring Disney films for pick-up lines, you probably have bigger problems than getting dates. (Don’t worry, I’m right there with you.) Anyway, here are five pick-up lines from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that you won’t want to use.
5. “All alone, my pet?” Creepy. The question is threatening, especially with the tag, and you are taking possession of a person that you don’t know.
4. “I’d like to see anybody make me wash if’n I didn’t want ta.” Is this a challenge? If it is, the person is going to need to hold his or her nose. Most people will just breathe through the nose and express disinterest.
3. “It’s the heart of a pig you hold in your hand.” Self-deprecating or true? At the beginning of a relationship it doesn’t matter. No one should give up his or her heart that quickly, and comparing yourself to a pig is not doing anything good for your image.
2. “This is no ordinary apple; it’s a magic wishing apple.” Unless the person is extremely naïve, he or she is going to wonder what your next lie will be. If the person knows anything about Disney, you have just scuttled yourself, and I am not talking about the bird from The Little Mermaid.
1. “Please don’t send me away. If you do, she’ll kill me.” What? This is just too crazy. Your significant other doesn’t want to deal with your crazy exes. A person that is just meeting you has no reason to deal with the drama. If it is true, you need to go to the police.
People may tell you to keep your Disney habit hidden. Don't listen to that advice. Sooner or later your addiction will be clear. It is just better to have it out there at the beginning. After all, if the other person doesn't love Disney as much as you do, your life will not be as much fun as you constantly struggle to keep your true emotions about Mickey and his pals hidden in the woods. Chances are that you won’t find a house full of little men and friendly woodland creatures to help you. Instead, you’ll take a bite of that magic wishing apple, and end up in the sleeping Disney death.
