Frontierland at Disneyland Paris 2015
Phantom Manor – Disneyland Paris puts a real gallows humor spin on the Haunted Mansion with its trip through the manor and then through the underground town inhabited by western spirits – you may be forgiven for thinking that the town would be aptly named “Tombstone.” As it stands, the stretching room is there and one statue watches you wherever you go. However, Phantom Manor has a darkly evil shade whose malicious laughter may send chills down your spine.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – The runaway mine train has made its way to France. Here the track is longer and the queue more extensive than at Disneyland in Anaheim. Otherwise, expect the wildest ride in the wilderness.
The entrance to Frontierland features a walkthrough fort area that has mock ups of Old West scenes and characters. This walkthrough is not listed on the guide, but you can go across the ramparts of the fort and see things like the Marshall Wyatt Earp and Old West paraphernalia if you are so inclined.
Cottonwood Creek Ranch was playing host to Mickey’s box of pumpkins, where Mickey could be seen in costume during the Halloween season. Jack’s Cemetery, a place to meet the Pumpkin King was located across the river from Phantom Manor. The Rivers of America equivalent, and its associated attractions, was closed at the time of this visit
