Ashland's Econolodge, convenient and friendly
The Econolodge in Ashland, Oregon may be the best placed we stayed at during a recent trip through Oregon and California. With easy access to I-5 and a Burger King within walking distance, this is an ideal stop for rest after a log couple of weeks of driving. The location seems safe, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel is quiet.
While the bathroom is comically small with the door hitting the toilet, the free breakfast does offer fresh fruit of an atypical fare. Rather than just apples, oranges or bananas, they had fresh strawberries and cut watermelon – a real treat after mornings of waffles, cereal and toast (which is also available).
The check-in process was easy, and the guy at the front desk was friendly. This Econolodge is one worth staying at for anyone has business in Ashland or for those who just need a break from the road. RVs and pets are welcome.
