Top 5 Disney Ducks
Not included on this list:
1. Donald Duck – from the time he had a belly ache to the present, Donald’s energy, anger and spiteful playfulness has dominated the big screen. Many fans cite Donald as their favorite Disney character because of his relatability. When Mickey was established as a movie star, he had to play it safe. Donald never has had to do anything but be himself.
2. Daisy Duck – Originally styled Donna, Daisy has had a voice to match Donald’s and has had a sweet voice. Whichever incarnation, Daisy has a more even temperament than Donald, but when she gets angry, Donald is usually on the receiving end of her tirade. She is more than a match for her beau.
3. Huey, Dewey and Louie – the nephews, never apart, offer a perfect foil for Donald. In their early years, they often created havoc by playing with their innocent looks and letting Donald take the blame. As they grew into Junior Woodchucks and had their own Duck Tales, woo-oo-oo!, they became a resourceful team. Solving the problems that they and others have created and learning as they go.
4. Scrooge McDuck – the richest duck in the world may be a penny pincher and tight with his money, but he is generous when it counts.
5. Darkwing Duck – He is the terror that flaps in the night. This is a bit of fan service since it was really a toss-up between Darkwing and the two honorable mentions below. Darkwing did have his own successful series run, and that cinched his place at number 5.
Honorable Mention: Launchpad McQuack and Ludwig von Drake. Also I am mentioning Howard the Duck here because otherwise some troll is going to mention him as the greatest Disney Duck of all-time.
