The Carnation Café is a must for breakfast at least one time
during a trip to Disneyland. Known as Oscar’s to fans, the Carnation Café serves
a traditional sit down menu. Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins can be accommodated
– often being seated within 20 minutes even during the busy season.
The menu includes a Mickey Mouse shaped waffle that is as big as the plate and features fruit to make the facial features. There are also apple-granola pancakes, which features a stack of three pancakes with a topping of granola and apples marinated in cinnamon.
Oscar’s Favorite is a couple eggs cooked to order with potatoes and meat on the side, but the best thing on the menu is the Tomato and Spinach Egg White Frittata. It has just enough spice to make it flavorful without burning your mouth to start the day.
