The Salt Lake City Public Library is one of the best libraries in the nation, and it has won the awards to prove it. Even if it hadn’t won the awards, all you would really need to know about the library to prove its value is that it shows free films in partnership with the Utah Film Center, it has a beehive, and you can download tunes from its website.
While the Salt Lake Public Library is often represented by the main branch downtown with its beautiful design, there are other branches that provide all of the same benefits that library patrons get at the main branch. The library has programs that include early childhood literacy, enriching the community, helping people live better and bringing education, especially in the area of computers, for those who might otherwise have to do without.
