Get good shoes for the tripOne of the biggest complaints that you can overhear in any Walt Disney World park is that someone’s feet or legs hurt.
A good pair of shoes is critical to any Walt Disney World vacation. Your feet are the basis of everything that you will enjoy at the parks unless you are using a wheelchair, an electric convenience vehicle (ECV) or stroller. You need to take care of them. Some books have recommended taking two pairs of shoes. For those who have trouble finding shoes, I recommend finding insoles that will work for you. My favorite insoles are from Dr. Scholl’s. Called “Massaging Gel Work Insoles,” these insoles have helped not only keep my feet comfortable during long work days, but they have also allowed my legs to recover from those times when I was wearing less-than-satisfactory shoes or shoes that gave up the ghost before I was able to change them. Whatever you choose, realize that walking will become a sport. The better you are at it, the more you will get done and the less you will complain. |
