Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril – obstensibly, this attraction is set in the world of legendary archaeologist and explorer Indiana Jones. However, aside from a few props like trucks and a tent where the clothing outside is turning a nice shade of green, there is no sign of Jones or anyone related to the franchise. The storyline is severely lacking while the queue snakes over a bridge and back in on itself.
The ride itself is a short roller coaster through temple ruins. It has a loop, so riders beware. There was a considerable wait for a ride that is very short.
Adventure Isle – Home to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, a pirate ship and more caves than anyone would care to count, Adventure Isle replicates some of the idea of Tom Sawyer’s Island at Disneyland Anaheim. People can wander around, get lost, imagine pirate adventures and generally do what they want within the confines of the law and good vacation behavior, which in a multi-cultural setting can mean a lot of things. As with everything at Disneyland Paris, things are scaled up from Tom Sawyer’s Island; also it is a walkthrough.
