Baby, It’s Cold Outside This song is not technically a Christmas song. It is more of a winter song. I don’t know why it isn’t played more often year round, but it may have to do with the fact that it sounds like it is from the ‘50s. It was written in 1944. Baby, It’s Cold Outside is traditionally sung as a duet, with the best version being sung by Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams. I love Haley Reinhart. Casey Abrams had the better debut album, but that was in part because of the surprise track Hit the Road, Jack that featured Reinhart. The singing chemistry between the two of them is unmistakable. Another version of Baby, It’s Cold Outside features the traditionally female and male parts switched, so that the woman is singing the title. She and Him sing it this way. |
