Whatever the reason for the slow start, the Pacers to within 1 with a chance to take the lead at the halftime horn. The shot attempt failed, and the Jazz took a 48 to 47 lead into the break. The Pacers came out in the third and took the lead with the first bucket of the half. Utah took the lead back, and the two teams wrestled to take the lead throughout the third quarter.
Utah was able to keep the game relatively close, but in the end, the Pacers were just too much.
Milwaukee lost to Detroit by 7 despite 22 from Ersan Ilyasova. At 3 and 15, the Bucks are now the worst team in the league. The Jazz have to hope that Milwaukee picks up a couple of more wins if Utah wants the most ping pong balls. Utah might be happy with the second most ping pong balls if they believe that Wiggins is the number one pick and Jazzbari is the number two pick.
New York remained at 3 and 13, which is also worse than the Jazz.
If the draft lottery were held today, Milwaukee would have the most ping pong balls, New York would be second and the Jazz would be third. Sacramento would follow those teams and Brooklyn would be No. 5.
Then you can pencil in the rest of the Atlantic Division with Cleveland and Orlando thrown in for good measure.
