There’s a reason why Aesop’s fables, the Bible and the Brothers Grimm started off in the oral tradition. People understand stories better than just telling them scientific facts. There is plenty of recent anecdotal evidence that people trust their feelings more than they trust logic or research.
So, I started outlining the creative process:
- The character starts in a place of comfort and ends in a place of comfort. This may seem counter intuitive, but creativity starts with being comfortable. Someone who is afraid of being creative is less likely to be creative. When creativity is accepted, people become more creativity.
- The character makes a mistake and overcomes his or her failure.
