How many years have you been attending Lilac City Comicon?
9 years
What is one of your favorite memories?
Several, but I’ll pick the photo booth we did last year to promote our Haunted House. We got a lot of screams and laughs. People really enjoyed it and so did we! It was A LOT of work setting up. We won’t be doing it this year, but we’ll have a couple of “guests” from our house at the show each day.
(Check out photos on Facebook from the first day at Lilac City Comicon 2017 and the second day.)
What are you bringing to this 2018’s convention?
We’re representing two ventures in one: Geek Garage Sale and The King Family Haunted House.
We’ll have original superhero and classic monster prints, toys and collectibles vintage to present, comic books, t-shirts, vintage Halloween, magnets and jewelry, and some original horror and Star Wars creations.
What’s new at your booth?
A little of everything above.
What’s the best advice you have for fans attending LCCC2018?
Plan on coming both days. There’s that much to see. Take a quick tour around the floor, then spend more time at each booth afterwards. However, if you see a one of kind that you want, get it while you see it before it’s gone!
Who would your dream guest be and why?
Hmm… All my dream guests have passed away or are no longer doing cons. I’m just glad to see LCCC is bringing more and more recognizable names each year. The “names” are what gets people’s attention and gets them in the door.
What’s your favorite thing about going to cons?
Just seeing all the creativity! All the cosplayers and artists of all sorts. You can’t beat seeing all that in one area.
Lilac City Comicon is at the Spokane Convention Center June 2 and 3, 2018. Penguinate.com will have a table there!
