There are only seven more weeks until the Tinkerbell Half Marathon at Disneyland. Travel arrangements have been made by plane and car as well as motel accommodations. It will be a well-attended event.
It is now time to become more aggressive with training. I have one more session scheduled with the Youfit trainer on Friday.
The gym has had classes for the Express Circuit two or three times a week. I have been taking advantage of those classes once or twice a week. Right now there is a female Youfit coach teaching those classes.
There have been four or five different coaches that have done the Express Circuit classes. Each of them passes on their own individual knowledge for the classes. It keeps the circuit interesting and informative.
When I do not participate in the Express Circuit classes (or they don’t have them) and I am not training with the Youfit coach, I am usually on the treadmill or the elliptical machine.
I have tried the stationary bike once but am not that familiar with it and really need to ask someone at the gym some questions about it. I know you would think it to be self explanatory, but it is not. There must be ways to increase difficulty by changing the slope or tightness of the pedals or some such nonsense!
After my last session with the Youfit coach, I plan to use the Express Circuit classes more often. Hopefully, that will get me through the next seven weeks until the Tinkerbell Half Marathon!
