It was very helpful to have coach go through all the areas of the Express Circuit and explain how all the machines work and the philosophy behind the circuit. There is a large signal light up on the wall at one end of the circuit. It only has a red and green light, no yellow light. You exercise while the green light is on, which lasts for 60 seconds, then rest for 30 seconds while the red light is on.
Each part of the circuit has a number on it. You can start on any number you want but starting with number one is always good. Kind of reminds me of the game we played as kids: “Red Light, Green Light.” Green light workout, red light stop, go to next number, rest , green light, workout, red light stop, go to next number , rest, repeat until finished with all the numbers. It takes 30 minutes to do the entire circuit and when you are done you have had a complete body workout.
Thursday was my normal appointment with the Youfit Coach. It was my sixth which puts me at half way through the number of Youfit Coach appointments that I have committed to. It was a lower body workout this time, and the front of my upper legs felt like rubber by the time we were finished.
I am still trying to figure out why after two months of this there seems to be no changes. Changes, for women, are mostly defined by weight loss and a change in the way clothes fit. Neither of which seem to be happening for me at this point in time. Is there something else I need to do or change? Hmmmmm…
